GENERAL PROGRAM OF PALMETTO PRESCHOOL
Palmetto Presbyterian Preschool program offers part-time and full-time childcare for children from 6 weeks up to 5 years of age. Our greatest goal is to provide children with a foundation for their social, emotional, and mental development. This approach allows our qualified staff to provide first-hand education to your children.
STUDY CURRICULUM
We have introduced the "A-Beka" educational program to our Preschool; This "Curriculum" has been tested with very successful results. The program contains an intensive application and mastery over phonetics and mathematics. "A-Beka" has well reached the standards of excellence for published materials for Christian schools. Our classes are designed to facilitate the learning experience for children using a variety of educational tools consisting of auditory, visual, and tactile methods.
STATE LICENSE
Palmetto Presbyterian Preschool is licensed by the Department of Children and Families of the State of Florida.
HOURS OF OPERATION
We are open to the public from 7: 00 am to 6: 30 pm.
BREAKFAST AND LUNCH-COSTS
We do not have a breakfast program, but our "morning snack" is always offered in the early hours of the day. If parents want to bring their children food suitable for breakfast, our staff should be notified and we will make the necessary arrangements. Palmetto Presbyterian Preschool offers a "hot lunch" program, at an additional cost of $2.50 daily. This program is optional and allows parent to send a lunchbox with their child.
